A service to watch Yellowstone that is not Netflix

Yellowstone is unfortunately not on Netflix or on Hulu, with the series’ availability for streaming being on NBCUniversal Peacock.

Yellowstone is the Paramount Network’s hit drama series which first made its television debut in 2018. The fast-paced and high-action family drama series tells the story of the ranching family that is internally dysfunctional.

However, they also need to work together to protect their Montana ranch from the continued encroachment of their enemies.

Part of the challenges the family faces include matters like government regulations, land developers and matters of ownership between the family and local Native American families.

Leading the cast is acclaimed film actor, Kevin Costner as the patriarch of the family, John Dutton. The significance of the role is that it marked Costner’s first long-form television role.

He leads a stellar cast consisting of actors including Wes Bentley, Kelly Reilly, Luke Grimes, Cole Hauser and Gil Birmingham.

In light of its growing popularity, a frequently asked question is whether there is a streaming service which hosts past seasons.

Unfortunately for Netflix and Hulu subscription users, the already available three seasons of the show are not available on either platform.

Where to watch online Yellowstone?

The reason for this is simple in retrospect, as Paramount Network has its own paid-subscription video on-demand streaming service.

Therefore, instead of housing the series on a service which would draw attention away from its own streaming service, Paramount Network exclusively hosts the series on its own streaming service to drive up subscribers.

The streaming service in question is NBCUniversal’s Peacock.

A description of the streaming service reads, “NBCUniversal’s Peacock streaming service offers a lot of great movies and TV shows to stream on demand, along with live news and sports. Best of all, you can watch lots of its content for free, or watch all of it with a paid subscription starting at just $4.99 a month.”

Alternatively, you can also stream the third season of the show via Paramount Network’s website. That is if you are signed up with your local cable or satellite TV provider.
