South African rappers, AKA and Kwesta, are the latest headlining artists to promote their upcoming performances at this year’s Fact Durban Rocks, Durban July edition.
The Durban July is one of the biggest horse-racing and fashion events in South Africa. As part of the festivities, one of the most sought-after tickets are for the Fact Durban Rocks concert, which takes place on Saturday, 6 July 2019, at the People’s Park, Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban. With only three days left before the star-studded concert takes place, popular South African rappers, AKA and Kwesta, have also been promoting their upcoming performances at the event.
Rapper, AKA, promoted his upcoming performance through an Instagram live two-way conversation with DJ Tira, which the DJ shared on his Twitter page on Monday, 1 July 2019. During the conversation, AKA asks who will be on the line-up and when the performance is happening. AKA even highlights that he has been a part of the Fact Durban Rocks movement for nine years now, performing at over seven of the previous roll-out concerts.
Later in the day, on his Instagram page, DJ Tira shared a video of the rapper’s selfie-recorded video promoting his upcoming performance at the Durban July, Fact Durban Rocks concert. Following the lead of fellow rapper, AKA, Kwesta also promoted his performance at the concert by posting a promotional video created by Afrotainment about the upcoming concert. In his caption to the video, the Vuur Vai rapper promised fans that he would be bringing his best performance to date when he takes the stage. at the concert is scheduled to kick off at 18:00.
