The rapper took to social media on Monday, 18 February 2019 to announce the likes of Nasty C, Sho Madjozi and DJ Speedsta as supporting acts for his upcoming concert.
Multi award-winning South African hip-hop artist AKA has announced some of the artists on the line-up for his upcoming Orchestra On The Square concert. The concert is set to take place at the popular Sun Arena at Time Square in Pretoria on Sunday, 17 March 2019 and will see him performing alongside a thirty-piece orchestra and band.
The rapper first announced the concert on social media in early January, much to his fans’ delight.
“It gives me great pleasure to announce my concert at the Sun Arena on the 17th of March live with a thirty-piece orchestra and band. I believe now, with three classic solo albums done and dusted, the time is right,” the rapper tweeted on Friday, 11 January 2019.
The likes of Nasty C, DJ Speedsta, A-Reece, 2Lee Stark, Team Mosha, Ayanda MVP and Xitsonga sensation Sho Madjozi are the latest additions to the line-up. The Fela In Versace hit-maker made the announcement in an Instagram post on Monday, 18 February 2019 and went on to encourage his fans to purchase their tickets and show up in their numbers.
The rapper’s latest album Touch My Blood boasts numerous hit singles such as Jika, Beyoncé and Fela In Versace, which received the thumbs up from the likes of Anthony Hamilton and Swizz Beatz.
The show is set to start at 4pm. Tickets are available for purchase at Computicket retailing between R250 and R420.
