AKA raises awareness on the unrest in Zimbabwe

Published on

AKA is one of the prominent South African artists who have used social media to bring attention to the current unrest in Zimbabwe, further encouraging the masses to support the troubled country.

AKA used his Twitter page to bring attention to the current unrest in Zimbabwe on Sunday, 2 August 2020. The rapper joins the growing voices of South African and Zimbabwean media personalities who are trying to bring light to the current situation in Zimbabwe, which many feel is largely ignored by the media.

Kim Jayde was one of the first personalities to bring awareness to the matter in South Africa, as she is a proud Zimbabwean native. As the personality tried to bring light to the matter, AKA, along with Zakes Bantwini, also weighed in on the troubled country. They have encouraged the world to rally behind Zimbabwe and raise awareness on the unrest, as was the case with the Black Lives Matter movement.
