AKA teams up with My Muze for nationwide talent search

Award-winning South African hip-hop artist, AKA, has teamed up with digital music service, My Muze, to launch a search for South Africa’s next rising star.

AKA took to his Instagram page to share details of his partnership with Vodacom’s streaming service, My Muze, in a multi-slide post published on Thursday, 20 June 2019. The post includes four slides filled with promotional and instructional posters urging interested participants to complete the necessary paper work, upload between one to 15 tracks onto My Muze and wait to get discovered.

AKA captioned the post: “Myself & [My Muze SA] are looking for SA’s next rising star. If you think your music deserves to be heard by the world – follow these steps to submit your music… stay tuned for more info and I might just be hitting you up!! See you at the Top!”

This nationwide talent search aims to unearth the hidden gems of the South African music industry by providing them with a platform to sell their music and get recognition for their talent on a global scale. My Muze gives listeners access to millions of different songs and music videos, making it an expansive platform for young and undiscovered talent.

AKA has continued to be a fixture in the local music and celebrity culture scene, recently taking the stage as one of the main acts on day one of Castle Lite Unlocks. Here, he shared a stage with artists like Cassper Nyovest, Youngsta CPT, DJ PH, Ayanda MVP and international headliner Meek Mill.
