The ‘Fela in Versace’ hitmaker will be hosting an exclusive launch event for his AKA Beam World app, which he first announced in early September 2018.
Award-winning rapper AKA will be launching his app tomorrow, 27 September 2018. The rapper first announced news of the app in a tweet at the beginning of the month, where he revealed plans to partner up with mobile communications giant Vodacom to release a subscription app, which will allow fans to receive the latest news and updates on him.
The app, which is called the AKA Beam World app, will document his life, career, family and also give fans a platform to interact with him.
Fans will get a bit more insight into the rapper’s private life, who’s been known for throwing people’s phones over balconies if they take pictures of him without his consent.
In an interview on Real Talk with Anele in February 2018, the rapper opened up and addressed rumours and speculation regarding his relationship with Bonang and the mother of his child DJ Zinhle.
“There are some things I want to talk about, in terms of the insides of our relationship,” he said. “But I would be less of a man if I said and explained everything. I’m taking it one day at a time. I got my daughter. I got my music. I got my friends. I got my health. I got my family. I got my money.”
AKA will be hosting an exclusive launch event for the app tomorrow, 27 September 2018 in Bryanston, Johannesburg.
