AKA uses Cassper Nyovest’s “MaDrugs” as new singles trend following release

AKA delays album release, admitting to making most of his money from endorsement deals

AKA has used what was intended as an insult by rival, Cassper Nyovest, to promote his three new songs; populating the hashtag, #MaDrugs in his promotional tweets.

AKA, on Friday, 22 May 2020, celebrated his new releases; Cross My Heart, Energy, and Monuments, on Twitter. AKA first bragged about the singles occupying the top three spots on Apple Music by stating that it is “too easy.”

While he was hyped about the positive responses that the singles were receiving, he used the opportunity to promote the new content that is now available on his AKA TV app. In his post, he ended the promotion with the hashtag, #MaDrugs.

The term references Cassper Nyovest’s tweet from Wednesday, 20 May 2020, suggesting that he was finally agreeing to the boxing match against his rival. Cassper Nyovest stated, “I hope you keep that energy when it’s time to get in the ring and box, MaDrugs.” AKA has now turned the intended insult into what is currently the top trend on Twitter.
