Amanda du-Pont and Shawn Rodriques showcased their multi-million-rand home in their cover feature for House & Garden, which they say was inspired by their travels.
Amanda du-Pont took to Instagram on Monday, 23 November 2020, to announce that she and her husband, Shawn Rodriques, are the cover stars of the latest edition of House & Garden. The Skeem Saam actress revealed that she had taken the publication through her house to showcase the interior that was inspired by their travels around the world.
She stated, “A special cover for me… Sharing this one with my husband. We opened our home to House & Garden for their December/January issue to share our sanctuary. We built our first home together – inspired by all our travels.”
Shawn also took to his own Instagram page to comment on their feature, captioning the post, “Such an adventure! We built it, Amanda du-Pont!” The home has a minimalistic chic theme, with a floating staircase and a clear balustrade being notable features. The cabinets and counter tops all have earth colours and are enhanced by pops of green.
