Rising female vocalist, Ami Faku has taken to her social media pages to promote her upcoming headlining performance at the Rands Stripped Down Culture concert in Khayelitsha.
On Tuesday, 23 July 2019, singer and songwriter, Ami Faku, took to her social media pages to announce her headlining performance at the Rands Stripped Down Culture concert taking place on Wednesday, 24 July 2019, at Rands in Khayelitsha, Cape Town. However, she was not the only artist to promote the event as acclaimed vocalist, Amanda Black, shared the same announcement on her Twitter account.
The concert is spearheaded by Red Bull South Africa and will feature the singer as the headliner for the concert. Ami Faku shared the promotional poster, which features the singer looking directly at the camera.
The singer used the caption to bring awareness to her performance and to thank the energy drink company for the opportunity. In her caption, she wrote, ”I’ll be performing at Rands, Cape Town, this Wednesday. Please come through and enjoy a musical Wednesday. Thank you Red Bull SA…”
The up-and-coming vocalist is quickly becoming an in-demand vocalist, following her string of hit singles including her collaborative single with acclaimed producer and DJ, Sun-El Musician, for the song Into Ingawe, along with her own current lead single, Love Drunk.
The singer is currently the only mentioned performer who will be taking the stage. Ami Faku is set to perform at 21:00 and will perform her catalogue of music including her hit single, Ubuhle Bakho and her 2018 introductory single, Ndikhethe Wena. The concert is free for all interested parties.
