The feat sees the pop star reportedly being the most followed female celebrity in the world, as she inches closer to the 200 million followers mark. Soccer legend, Cristiano Ronaldo, is one of the few people who have reached that milestone, boasting 222 million Instagram followers.
This means that Ariana Grande has surpassed fellow pop sensation, Selena Gomez, who was reportedly the most followed female celebrity on Instagram in 2019. Further, she is said to be the second most followed personality, with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson following closely behind her with over 185 million followers. Beauty mogul, Kylie Jenner, has over 179 million followers. Inching behind her is Selena Gomez, with over 178 million followers, whilst Kim Kardashian West has over 173 million followers.
