Ariana Grande’s Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I’m Bored reaches 50 million views

A mere four days since its official release on Thursday, 7 February 2019, Ariana Grande’s Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I’m Bored music video has amassed over 50 million views on YouTube.

The single is taken off her latest album Thank You, Next, which was released a day after on Friday, 8 February 2019.

The single samples popular boy band *NSYNC’s It Makes Me Ill, and former band member Lance Bass took to Twitter to acknowledge the sample by sharing that the single is his favourite song from Ariana Grande’s latest album.

In the video, the songstress notices a couple that she is intrigued by, and ends up dancing with them. In an unexpected ending, it is evident that it is actually the girlfriend that she has her eye on, not the boyfriend, as many would have expected.
