Babes Wodumo and Mampintsha tease new singles

Babes Wodumo is gearing up for the release of her new single, which will feature Madanon, and, Mampintsha, who is also set to release new music soon.

On Tuesday, 2 July 2019, Babes Wodumo took to her Instagram page to share with her 1.7 million followers that she is set to release a new single that will feature her on-and-off boyfriend, Mampintsha, and fellow Durban-based musician, Madanon. The Wololo hit-maker shared the news through a video which featured the song as the soundtrack.

In the video posted by Babes Wodumo, featured artist, Madanon can be seen taking a selfie of himself while he sings Babes Wodumo’s part of the song, which has adlibs from Mampintsha repeating the last phrase of Babes Wudumo’s verse. The upbeat gqom song features Babes Wudumo singing in isiZulu about not having to beg any idiots for anything.

‏Since its release, the video has garnered over 25 000 views on her Instagram page and most of the comments are complimentary about the upcoming single.  The caption to the post does not reveal a release date, except to say that the single will be released very soon.

The songstress’ boyfriend, Mampintsha, also revealed that his next single, which will be called Joburg, featuring producer and vocalist, TNS is also set to be released soon. The artist revealed the news through his Instagram page on Wednesday, 3 July 2019, sharing an image of himself and TNS posing for the camera during their studio session while he put the final touches to the single. Following Babes’ lead, Mampintsha does not reveal the release date, except to ask if fans are ready for the single.
