‘Basketball Wives’ star Gloria Govan released on bail following altercation with ex-husband

The reality star was reportedly arrested on charges of felony child endangerment after she went against the child-custody agreement between her and her ex-husband Matt Barnes.

‘Basketball Wives’ star Gloria Govan has reportedly been arrested on charges of felony child endangerment. This comes after the reality star was involved in an altercation with her ex-husband and retired NBA player Matt Barnes.

Reports say that Barnes was scheduled to pick up their 9-year-old twins from school on Friday, as per their child-custody agreement, but Govan arrived at the school early and went against the agreement. When Barnes arrived and instructed the boys to get into his car, Govan then opted to drive after the Barnes’ car and block it, resulting in an eyewitness calling 911.

Police arrived on the scene and arrested Govan after Barnes produced proof of their child-custody agreement.

Govan has since been released on bail and took to Instagram to post an image of a short prayer and captioned it as follows:

“Let me tell y’all something… there isn’t a person on this earth that isn’t struggling with something! I don’t care how much money, success, or followers anyone has. We all have problems. You’re not alone. Trust me. Don’t let people’s filtered pictures fool you. God has equipped you; HE has prepared you for every day. Each day is ordered by him.”

Since divorcing Barnes, the 33-year-old has been romantically linked to former NBA player and coach Derek Fisher.
