BET Africa shares official first look into Black Tax season two

BET Africa has finally unveiled the first official look into the second season of Black Tax, as the season premiere draws closer.

BET Africa took to Twitter on Monday, 4 October 2021, to share the first official look into the second season of it and Showmax’s joint original fictional comedy series, Black Tax, fronted by leading lady, Jo-Anne Reyneke as Thuli. The two platforms have teased the return of the Rous House Production for months ahead of the imminent premiere.

The shared statement from Wednesday, 22 September 2021, indicated the new cast by writing, “The second season of Black Tax welcomes new cast members – the legendary thespian Owen Sejake, the funny and talented Motlatsi Mafatshe and newcomer Asante Mabuza – to expand a storyline as the meddlesome new neighbours of Thuli and her crazy family. Motlatsi plays Nkanyiso, Thuli’s potential love interest, while Owen plays the character of Bra Hugo, an old player and Nkanyiso’s father. Asante will portray the character of Lulu, Nkanyiso’s daughter.”

In light of the excerpt shared, the new family is introduced following Thuli and her family moving homes due to financial constraints. Therefore, following their move, Thuli becomes neighbours with Nkanyiso. Black Tax is set to premiere on Saturday, 9 October 2021, on BET Africa, DStv channel 129, at 19:00.
