On Tuesday, 13 August 2019, the acclaimed DJ and musician took to Instagram to announce that he shares the August cover of Mixmag, alongside other South African artists.
The award-winning DJ took to Instagram to post an image of the cover and asked his fans to visit the website and read his feature. Black Coffee is currently in Ibiza for his ongoing Black Coffee Saturdays residency at popular nightclub, Hi Ibiza, with his next performance scheduled for Saturday, 17 August 2019. He will be joined by South African DJ, Culoe De Song.
Black Coffee shared the image of the cover of the British digital magazine, which features himself and other acclaimed South African artists and DJs, including Themba, Da Capo and Argento Dust, who is also a producer. The all-male cover also features emerging and talented artists, Kususa, Lemon and Herb, and Jullian Gomes. The British digital magazine is celebrating Africa’s emerging and seasoned artists in their August issue, themed ‘Africa Is Not A Jungle’.
The acclaimed South African DJ accompanied the image with a caption saying, “It gives me great pride and pleasure to be able to share the stage and shine the light on some of Africa’s finest rising talent. Check this month’s issue of Mixmag. #AfricaIsNotAJungle”
Black Coffee continues to represent South Africa and shine the light on DJs and musicians who are emerging in the industry and inspire many South Africans. The Instagram post was flooded with comments, with many fans congratulating the South African musician and noting how he continues to inspire many.
