DJ Black Coffee reveals latest Black Coffee Saturdays line-up

Internationally recognised DJ, Black Coffee, has revealed the names of the DJs who will be joining him for his residency set this week at his ongoing Black Coffee Saturdays.

Every week, ahead of his residency performance at the popular Hi Ibiza night club in Ibiza, Black Coffee reveals the names of the five DJs that will perform as part of the Black Coffee Saturdays line-up. On Monday, 8 July 2019, the Music Is King artist shared the names of the latest line-up, which includes one South African-based DJ.

This edition of the poster features a portrait of a face painted in black, whose surroundings are embellished with flowers and peacock feathers around their face, called Portrait of Oshun. The first artist’s name that is on the poster is Germany-based producer and DJ, Adam Port. He is the headlining performance for this edition of the residency, and he will be supported by other notable DJs like Birds Of Mind, Salome, Vanjee and celebrated South African DJ, Themba, also known as Euphonik.

Following the release of his latest poster, which features the captivating works of LA-based fine artist, Harmonia Rosale; Black Coffee shared a video on Wednesday, 10 July 2019, discussing how his working relationship with the artist started. Harmonia Rosale’s work has ruffled feathers, especially after she reinterpreted the popular classic painting, The Hand Of God, and re-imagined God as a Black Woman, calling her re-interpretation of the painting The Creation Of God.

In his video, Black Coffee gushes about the artist and her craft. He notes that each painting is hand painted, rather than digitally-produced and expresses what her involvement in the creation of every poster for this year’s residency has signified to him.
