Blaklez releases new EP, Don’t Mind The BS

Blaklez has released his new EP, Don’t Mind The BS, which comprises five songs that blend hip-hop and R&B elements to create unique sounds.

Blaklez released his new EP, Don’t Mind The BS, on Friday, 8 January 2021, comprising five songs that provide texture and originality amid the current South African music climate. Although the EP collectively offers only 23 minutes of music, Blaklez has managed to include collaborations and different sounds that allow him to start off the year as a more versatile artist.

Don’t Mind The BS includes features from PDOT O, Thapelo Mashiane, MGucciFab_The DJ and Streetz. Although categorised as hip-hop and rap on Apple Music, the EP offers a soulful sound that can be described as R&B with elements of lounge music.

Blaklez took to Instagram on Monday, 11 January 2021, to introduce his project to his fans, stating, “Good morning. Proud to announce my new EP, Don’t Mind The BS, is out now on digital platforms. We worked hard to bring you the best music. Enjoy.”
