Is Blood & Water season two out?

Season two of Blood & Water is currently not out. However, Netflix South Africa has confirmed that the second season of the show is expected for release on Friday, 24 September 2021. The date is auspicious as it coincides with a national public holiday, Heritage Day, meaning that South Africans can binge-watch the new season on the day.

Is Blood & Water based on a true story?

Blood & Water is not based on a true story, however, the series has been perceived as South Africa’s contemporary take on a coming-of-age drama series. A series that focuses on the lives of teenagers has not been done in years, with previous examples such as 2017’s Is’thunzi. More examples include Soul Buddies and Dynamite Diepkloof Dudes; both shows aired from the 1990s into the early 2000s.

How many Blood & Water episodes are there?

The first season of Blood & Water has six episodes. The running order of the episodes includes Fiksation, The Interview, Propaganda, Payback’s a B*tch, Frenemy No. 1 and Trippin’, respectively. Many fans of the show initially believed that the number of episodes suggested a mid-season break, rather than a complete season.
