Boity Thulo reacts to Ntsiki Mazwai’s inflammatory tweet on some celebrities’ supposed lack of tertiary education

Boity Thulo has responded to Ntsiki Mazwai’s inflammatory tweet on some celebrities’ supposed lack of tertiary education, claiming that they tend to start alcohol businesses.

Boity Thulo took to Twitter on Monday, 5 April 2021, to respond to the slight that controversial Twitter personality and South African poet, Ntsiki Mazwai, posted. Mazwai took to Twitter earlier in the day and lambasted local personalities without a tertiary education, suggesting that most leading local celebrities have alcohol brands but no formal tertiary qualifications.

Thulo, as the latest local media personality to have launched an alcohol and non-alcohol beverage line, BT Signature, commented on the post. She responded with an image of her and an unidentified person toasting with her new beverage. One person who commended her for her tweet was friend and rumoured boyfriend, Maps Maponyane.

Additionally, Lerato Kganyago also weighed in. However, it seems that she either blocked or has been blocked by Mazwai, as she could not see the tweet by the controversial Twitter personality. Kganyago had to depend on screenshots shared by her followers to understand Maponyane’s post.
