Boity Thulo announced her latest business venture, BT Signature, on Wednesday, 31 March 2021, which introduced her fans to the new peach-flavoured sparkling drink. Seeing as it was described as a sparkling cider, Boity was inundated with queries on whether the flavourful drink accommodates non-alcohol consumers. The businesswoman assured her customers that there are non-alcoholic options, which are perfect for the Easter weekend. This is in light of the temporary alcohol ban that has been reintroduced for off-site consumption.
Boity stated, “Get yourself a bottle of BT Signature at all Shoprite LiquorShop stores nationwide. It’s peachy, it’s sparkling, it’s oh so tasty, and we’ve got a non-alcoholic version too for the ‘next four days.’” Boity has been praised by many for the launch of her new drink, including fellow media personality and businesswoman, Bonang Matheba, who congratulated her on Twitter.
