Bonang Matheba and Sizwe Dhlomo concur on one benefit of having money

Bonang Matheba took to Twitter to agree with media personality and businessman, Sizwe Dhlomo, about not having to be dependent on anyone, due to having money.

Johannesburg mayor, Herman Mashaba, stepped down from his position following Hellen Zille’s appointment as Federal Council Chairperson of the Democratic Alliance on Monday, 21 October 2019. Following this, Sizwe Dhlomo reposted Mashaba’s formal resignation and commented, “This is what I love about having [money. You do not beg anyone!]”

Many of his followers agreed with the Newzroom Afrika anchor, with a follower adding, “When you have money you speak your mind and sleep peacefully. I love it.” Another popular media personality that agreed with Sizwe’s sentiments was Bonang Matheba, who retweeted the post by writing, “Not a single soul!”

Bonang’s followers commented on the post, with one user saying, “I knew this when I started making my own money. [It is nice].”

The proclamation comes after Bonang allegedly replied to Ntsiki Mazwai’s since-deleted tweet alleging that the Being Bonang reality star was not the owner of her popular alcoholic beverage, House Of BNG, but window dressing for Woolworths. Bonang, who is known for subliminal tweets, was later thought to be referring to Mazwai when she later tweeted that, “Underachievers have too much to say. It’s weird.”

Her last tweet on Monday, 21 October 2019, after agreeing with Sizwe Dhlomo, stated, “All the peace,” further emphasising the power of having one’s own money.
