Bonang Matheba begun the countdown to the premiere of her two-part documentary, A Very Bonang Year, with an Instagram Live session and promotional goodie bags for her supporters.
Bonang Matheba hosted an impromptu Instagram Live session on Monday, 27 July 2020. The session was hosted in promotion of her upcoming two-part documentary, A Very Bonang Year, which premieres on SABC 1 on Saturday, 1 August 2020.
In addition to the Instagram Live session, many of Bonang’s supporters and influencers received branded goodie bags. Some of the popular personalities who received goodie bags were Blue Mbombo, Lesego “Coconut Kelz” Tlhabi, Zoe Msutwana and Melody Molale.
The Instagram Live session, however, is what had her fans in stitches, as Bonang showcased her humorous side. During the session, Bonang comically explained why she does not have a TikTok account, which was later shared by DJ Fresh to assert his friend’s stance. She then went on to share what her go-to alcoholic beverage is and, much like Zodwa Wabantu, Bonang is a fan of Savanna Dry.
