On Wednesday, 25 March 2020, Bonang Matheba replied to a follower’s tweet with a string of crying emojis. The emojis were in response to the announcement of the temporary closure of Chicken Licken, due to the 21-day national lockdown. Bonang and her cousin, Pinky Girl’s love for the fast food chain was expressed throughout her popular reality show, Being Bonang.
