Camila Cabello thanks her fans on album anniversary

The singer released her debut album, ‘Camila’ one year ago on Friday, 12 January 2018, and has enjoyed a successful solo career since leaving the popular girl group, Fifth Harmony.

Pop singer, Camila Cabello, reached out to her millions of fans on Sunday, 13 January 2019, to thank them for their love and support.

“This year ago has been all about you and the new memories we’ve made with these songs,” the singer said of her eleven-track self-titled album. “First, they were my little secrets, and now they’re bonds that bind us together in the moments we’ve made with them.”

“It’s our anniversary,” the singer said excitedly. Her debut album, ‘Camila’ was released one year ago on Friday, 12 January 2018. Cabello expressed her gratitude to the people who love her music, saying she wishes she could thank each person individually for making the album and tour a success.

The album spawned mega-hits like the single, ‘Havana,’ featuring Young Thug, and the romantic ballad, ‘Consequences,’ which also has an orchestra version released on Tuesday, 9 October 2018. The star added that she is excited for the future. “This has been the most beautiful first chapter and we have a whole book to go,” she said concluding the lengthy post. Cabello started her solo career after leaving the girl group, Fifth Harmony in 2017.

The group was formed in the second season of The X Factor USA, where all five girls auditioned. The group has been on an indefinite hiatus since 2018 to allow the remaining members, Normani Hamilton, Dinah Jane Hansen, Ally Brooke and Lauren Jauregui to explore solo careers.
