The Cartier brand in its entirety has some of the most exclusive jewellery pieces in the market, with the Love Ring being considered the entry level item from the brand.

Cartier has become known as one of the most exclusive jewellery brands, with local media personalities such as Bonang Matheba, Boity Thulo and Sarah Langa often accessorising with items from the brand. The French brand’s offering includes an assortment of watches, bracelets, necklaces and earrings, whilst the ring has become widely popular amongst entry level customers. More specifically, the Love Ring, which is one of the most recognisable items from the collection. The Love Ring retails between R16 000 and R58 000.

One of the reasons that the brand appeals to the masses is because of its popularity amongst public figures. Aside from the jewellery being manufactured from good quality gold and silver, the Cartier name holds value on its own.  The Love Rings are amongst the cheaper items in the collection, making them expensive enough for people to know you can afford it, yet cheap enough to enter into the Cartier club.
