Cassper Nyovest celebrates half a decade since the release of his debut album, Tsholofelo

Multi-award-winning South African, hip-hop artist, Cassper Nyovest, is celebrating half a decade since the official release of his acclaimed nineteen-track debut album, ‘Tsholofelo.

The album spawned hit singles such as ‘Phumakim,’ ‘Doc Shebeleza,’ ‘Gusheshe,’ featuring OkMalumKoolKat and ‘Tsibip,’ which was the official soundtrack for the popular series, Ayeye.

The ‘Tito Mboweni’ hit-maker took to social media on Thursday, 10 January 2019, to share about how five years ago, ahead of his debut album’s release, he was depressed and felt like he had no real purpose. All of this changed upon the album’s release, which fast-tracked his success, making him one of South Africa’s best-selling and most popular artists.

The album is available for purchase on iTunes.
