Cassper Nyovest to release new single ‘Hase Mo States’ this Friday

Cassper Nyovest is gearing up for his annual #FillUp concert event by releasing another single off his upcoming album on Friday, 5 October 2018.

Cassper Nyovest’s #FillUpMosesMabhida concert is only 59 days away. To commemorate the countdown to the annual event, Nyovest gave his fans a teaser of his new single ‘Hase Mo States’, in a social media post on Tuesday, 2 October 2018.

Nyovest shared a video of himself weight training in his backyard in preparation for the Saturday, 1 December 2018 concert. The rapper has been hard at work in the gym since early winter and now regularly posts workout videos and shirtless selfies.

This new video was backtracked by Nyovest’s latest singe, titled ‘Hase Mo States’, off his upcoming album which is expected to release by the end of the year. In his caption, Nyovest announced that the single will officially drop on Friday, 5 October 2018.

The single evidently features heavy Kwaito influences, just as his last single ‘Gets Getsa 2.0’, which was released in late August. While some fans have not taken to this new creative direction, others are loving it. Nyovest has responded to critics by simply dismissing their negativity.

On Tuesday, 2 October, Nyovest shared that ‘Hase Mo States’ has apparently gotten the nod of approval from Kwaito musician Kabelo Mabalane. “Got Kabelo Mabalane’s blessings for my new single. Pantsula for Life! Proudly South African Music!”, Nyovest tweeted.
