Celebrity Game Night returns for season two

Celebrity Game Night has been confirmed to be returning for a second season, along with host, Anele Mdoda, and team captains, Ayanda Thabethe and Jason Goliath.

Celebrity Game Night will be returning for season two in 2021, as announced by one of the show’s team captains, Ayanda Thabethe. In an Instagram post today, 14 October 2020, the media personality shared an image of herself holding the South African Film and Television Award (SAFTA), which the game show received for its first season.

She stated, “Our SAFTA-award-winning series is back for season two, with some of your favourites and some brand new faces! [I] can’t wait to remind Jason Goliath who was the boss of season one of Celebrity Game Night!”

Season one of Celebrity Game Night featured the likes of Minnie Dlamini-Jones, Alex Caige, Dineo Langa, Ice Prince, Boity Thulo, Maps Maponyane, Roxy Burger, DJ Fresh and Lerato Kganyago, with season two also expected to host more popular celebrities.
