Checkers shares alternate Foreign Ground Coffee recipes

Published on

Checkers South Africa’s range of Foreign Ground Coffee can be used as an ingredient for other creations, in addition to being a standard popular hot beverage.

Checkers South Africa has shared different recipes to inform customers on how to use its Foreign Ground Coffee to create exciting snacks, aside from just drinking it as a standard hot or cold beverage.

In an Instagram post today, 29 July 2020, Checkers shared a Double Chocolate Mocha Brownies recipe, which is a deviation from the regular brownie. With the addition of the Foreign Ground Coffee, the brownies take on a decadent mocha taste which is different to the usual chocolate filling.

In another Instagram post on Friday, 24 July 2020, Checkers added the Foreign Ground Coffee to caramel popcorn. The retailer stated, “Did you know that coffee and popcorn are traditionally enjoyed together in Ethiopia? Take your senses there with this recipe for coffee-coated popcorn, made with our exclusive Foreign Ground Single Origin Coffee from Ethiopia!”
