Chef Lucia Mthiyane has shared a detailed tutorial on social media on how to make a creamy chicken casserole, using ordinary ingredients found in the average person’s refrigerator.

Chef Lucia Mthiyane took to Instagram on Sunday, 26 July 2020, to share a detailed tutorial on how to make a quick and easy dinner, using various ingredients found in the average person’s refrigerator or pantry. The chef started by sourcing the ingredients from her fridge, which included dried rosemary, dried thyme, lemon, cream amasi, salt and pepper, and masala.

In her tutorial, she highlighted the importance of basting the chicken with oil so that the flavouring sticks to the meat, as well as adding salt immediately after to make sure that there is lasting flavour. After adding all of her spices, Lucia squeezed a lemon to create a tangy taste, before adding a can of fresh cream for the gravy.
