Connie Ferguson announced as the latest addition to the Miss SA judging panel

Actor and producer, Connie Ferguson, will be joining a host of other judges, including Anele Mdoda and Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters, as they crown Miss South Africa 2019.

In a post shared by the official Miss South Africa Instagram page on Tuesday, 6 August 2019, critically acclaimed actress and producer, Connie Ferguson, was announced as one of the judges to feature on the panel for Miss South Africa 2019, taking place on Friday, 9 August 2019. The actress will be joined by Catriona Gray, Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters, Anele Mdoda and Thando Hopa, as they collectively decide who will represent the country as the 2019 Miss SA title holder.

The award-winning actress reposted the promotional image on her social media pages and captioned it with, “What an honour to be entrusted with choosing this year’s Miss SA! Daunting task I tell you! I got to meet the 16 finalists at yesterday’s pre-judging and they’re all amazing, passionate young women! It’s going to be a tough call! Looking forward to the main event on [9 August]!”

Fans took to social media to share congratulatory messages with the actress, with many stating that she is the ideal person for the position. Samaita Sandero stated, “You are beautiful and embody all the characteristics of someone who represents this country so well. I have no doubt that you would be able to assist in finding the ideal woman to also showcase our country as well as you do!”
