Connie Ferguson was completely taken by emotion as she wished her youngest daughter, Ali, off for her Matric Dance, which signified the end of her high school career.
Connie Ferguson took to Instagram on Saturday, 28 November 2020, to share a sentimental post about her youngest daughter, Ali Ferguson, who had attended her Matric Dance on Friday, 27 November 2020. The Queen actress expressed the pride she felt about her daughter and her classmates, who experienced their final year of high school amid the coronavirus pandemic.
She stated, “I can only marvel at how she and her mates stayed committed in a climate filled with uncertainty. A rare breed they are! Forced to adapt to survive! Today, they deserve to celebrate themselves, as they get ready for whatever lies ahead in their future!”
She also made mention of the fact that Ali had stepped out of her comfort zone to wear a dress for the first time in 11 years. She thanked designer, Mercia Hlatshwayo, for creating a tuxedo dress, and claimed that there is hope that her “tom boy” daughter could show her feminine side.
