South African actress and media personality, Connie Ferguson, revealed that she is on the cover of Women’s Health, showcasing her toned body for the October edition of the magazine.
On Friday, 20 September 2019, Connie Ferguson revealed her second magazine cover in a space of a week as she graces the cover for the October edition of Women’s Health magazine. Connie Ferguson stuns in a monochromatic sports luxe outfit of black shorts and a black and white print gym bra. The Queen-famed actress wears her hair in a single cornrow with a high ponytail.
The 49-year-old’s story focuses on her toned abs and her love for her boxing classes that always feature on her social media pages. In the caption to the cover’s reveal, she stated, “And there you have it! What an experience it was to do this cover! Thank you, Women’s Health South Africa, for having me!” She went on to thank her trainer, Xolisani ‘Nomeva’ Ndongeni from Fight Club South Africa, describing it as her “happy healthy place.”
Connie shared the cover shot with the release of the behind-the-scenes video of the shoot. In the video, the actress can be seen wearing a different monochromatic sports luxe outfit. The video features her being photographed in different poses as the photographer directs her.
Some of the popular names to congratulate her on her social media include actresses, Brenda Mhlongo, Khabonina Qubeka, Sindi Dlathu. Actor, Nay Maps, and all-round media personalities, Bridgette Masinga, Uyanda Mbuli and Carol Bouwer, also extended congratulatory messages to the actress.
