De Mthuda has confirmed that he is set to officially release the street single, Wamuhle, featuring Njelic, Boohle and Da Muziqal Chef.
De Mthuda took to Instagram on Tuesday, 28 September 2021, to confirm the imminent release of his street single, Wamuhle, featuring Njelic, Boohle and Da Muziqal Chef. The single is regarded as a street single despite it not being officially released yet. The song is currently one of the most-played and popular singles of the past year by any amapiano musician and producer-DJ. However, this is not the first single from De Mthuda to have garnered traction ahead of the formal release.
His two previous singles, which he released this year, had a similar promotional campaign. The first was Emlanjeni with Sir Trill, featuring Da Muziqal Chef, as well as Jola, featuring Sino Msolo and Da Muziqal Chef, which enjoyed the same rollout. Wamuhle was officially released on Friday, 24 September 2021. His fans appreciated the official release of the single, as DJs have been circulating the unofficial version .
The single marks the third single released independently as De Mthuda garners pre-orders for his upcoming studio album, The Landlord.
