Did Bonang Matheba finish school?

Bonang Matheba is one of the most well-known media personalities in South Africa, whose career took off in 2007 when she left the University of Johannesburg to co-host Live.

Bonang Matheba began her career at the age of 15, when she made her television debut on the SABC 2 kids show, Manhattan Fantasy Challenge. After leaving the North West province to pursue a career in entertainment, she joined the prestigious co-ed school, Fourways High School, where she completed her secondary schooling. Thereafter, Bonang enrolled at the University of Johannesburg to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing.

In 2007, the then aspiring television host auditioned for SABC 1’s Live, which resulted in her being given the coveted role as a presenter on the show. Her time on the popular music show catapulted her into stardom. Bonang then decided to cut her tertiary education short to focus on her career in the entertainment industry. She has since gone on to become one of the most recognisable hosts in South Africa, having featured on Top Billing, Miss South Africa, Global Citizen, and a long list of other shows.
