The DJ will be a headlining the festival on Friday, 11 January 2019, alongside many prominent South African artists.
Popular house musician, DJ Feel, confirmed on Tuesday, 8 January 2019, that he would be a headlining act at the Durban Music Festival.
The DJ reposted an advertisement for the event on his Instagram page. “2019’s Entertainment calendar kicks off this Friday (11 Jan) at the #DurbanMusicFestival,” the advert read. The event will take place on Friday, 11 January 2019, at Virginia Airport, Hangar 8. Tickets will be made available for purchase on the Ticketpro website from Wednesday, 9 January 2019.
Fellow artists Babes Wodumo, AKA, Busiswa, Dladla Mshunqisi, Benny Maverick and Junior De Rocka will also be headlining the event. Supporting acts will be DJ Thukzin, Meech, Boonu, Introb Fam, Funk Soul, Ntukza, Lag, Jnr B and DJ Bongz.
The Durbanite is a hip-hop DJ and Red Key Concepts Entertainment signee. He has performed at the popular nightclub Azar and as the headlining act at the Pimped Out Spring event in Bloemfontein in October 2018.
The Durban Music Festival, which is organised by the KwaZulu-Natal tourism department is expected to start at 5pm and end the next morning at 2am. No one under the age of 18 is allowed at the event. Festival goers can expect to pay R150 for a ticket to see the show.
