Producer and recording artist, DJ Maphorisa, rejected a call to challenge Prince Kaybee to an online battle of hit singles, claiming that Prince Kaybee’s biggest hits are because of his mentee, TNS.
On Monday, 30 March 2020, DJ Maphorisa declined a suggestion by a Twitter user to host a best 20/ 20 battle with social media rival, Prince Kaybee. The trend started internationally, with the likes of The Dream, Ne-Yo and other popular producers and songwriters taking on the challenge. In his reply to the user, DJ Maphorisa suggested that a bulk of Prince Kaybee’s hit singles are because of his mentee, TNS.
