DJ Ray Squared to perform live at the Onyx ‘Dirty Disco’

House and hip-hop DJ, Ray Squared, will be performing one of his mixes at the ‘Dirty Disco’ New Year’s Eve celebration at Onyx nightclub in Sandton on Monday, 31 December 2018.

The DJ will be performing along with three other DJs at what the Onyx dubbed the “hottest New Year’s Eve celebration”.

Fellow DJs Marco, Fanatic and Sebastian, will also be joining Ray Squared to help Onyx patrons usher in the New Year. According to his website, Ray Squared had “shown an affinity for music from a very young age. DJ Ray Squared has been fine-tuning his skills with a unique repertoire of mixes, music and playlists.”

The musician has “influences ranging from deep house, commercial house and hip-hop.” The Onyx nightclub reminded people that it is “almost time to dance on the table and drink champagne at  [Johannesburg’s] hottest New Year’s Eve.”

The club encouraged Instagram followers to “ring in the New Year with the Legacy Group and Onyx,” in an advertisement for the event.  Onyx will be collaborating with DA Vinci Hotel and Maxmillien Restaurant.

Patrons are being offered both silver and gold packages to enjoy the night, priced at R3500 and R8300 respectively. The packages will include dinner at the Maxmillien Restaurant on Monday, 31 December 2018 at 8PM, entrance for two at the party at Onyx and one night stay at the Da Vinci hotel.

The packages also include breakfast at 11:30am the morning after the party. Guests are required to check in at the hotel at 2pm on New Year’s Eve and check out at 1pm on New Year’s Day. The spa and pool facilities will be available to them after checkout. Patrons with the gold package have the added benefit of a R5000 bar tab.
