DJ Tira has shared that his Fact Durban Rocks concerts will be travelling to Australia for a two-day tour in September 2019.
Taking to his social media pages on Tuesday, 16 July 2019, Afrotainment founder, DJ Tira, announced that his Fact Durban Rocks concerts will be travelling abroad. Tira announced that the tour will be hosted in Perth on Friday, 13 September 2019 and again on Saturday, 14 September 2019, in Melbourne. The theme of the Australian leg of the tour is All White Everything.
DJ Tira shared the news by releasing a promotional poster for the upcoming Australian leg of the tour. Besides himself, the poster also features the first artist that will be a part of the tour. The artist is Zimbabwean rapper, Crooger, who will be travelling with DJ Tira to Australia for the tour. In addition to releasing the identity of the first artist, the poster also reveals that the tour will be hosted by fellow Zimbabwean, DJ Towers.
DJ Towers shared the first official poster on Monday, 15 July 2019, on his social media pages. His poster differs from DJ Tira’s as it reveals an additional artist that will be performing during the two-day tour. On his shared poster, besides Crooger, the poster reveals that Zimbabwean-born and South African-based hip-hop artist, King 98, will also be travelling with them.
So far, DJ Tira has not shared which South African artists, if any, will be a part of the tour. However, Fact Durban Rocks is synonymous with DJ Tira inviting artists from his stable, Afrotainment, to perform with him. In the past he has invited notable names like Tipcee, Dladla Mshunqisi and NaakMusiQ to perform for the Fact Durban Rocks events.
