On Tuesday, 13 August 2019, DJ Zinhle and Oskido shared images of their intimate star-studded dinner, celebrating Busiswa’s new venture as an independent artist.
DJ Zinhle and Oskido shared images from the star-studded dinner which was hosted in honour of musician, Busiswa. The singer and songwriter, who was signed to Oskido’s record label, Kalawa Jazzmee, has ventured into being an independent artist. To celebrate her brave new move, the duo hosted a dinner party for the Summer Life hitmaker at Oskido’s newly opened restaurant, Daruma by Oskido, at the Waterfall Estate in Johannesburg.
DJ Zinhle was the first to share images of the intimate dinner at the restaurant that was specifically booked out for Busiswa’s dinner event on Tuesday, 13 August 2019. In the series of images shared, popular names in the entertainment industry such as close friend, Pearl Thusi; partner, AKA; and artists, Moozlie and Nokwazi were all in attendance.
DJ Zinhle posted the images with the caption, “Celebrating Busiswa! Thank you for hosting us Oskido” Oskido then posted more images from the celebratory dinner, writing, “Awesome evening last night [at] Daruma by Oskido celebrating Busiswa. Well done my chikita.”
Busiswa also took the time to thank DJ Zinhle for organising the dinner, and Oskido for hosting them. In her caption to her retweet of DJ Zinhle’s series of images, Busiswa wrote, “What a blessed night! I definitely feel loved! And a toast to new beginnings is definitely my new mantra from now on! Thank you DJ Zinhle.”
A fan celebrated how Oskido treats artists who are from, or were a part of his record label. In their comment on DJ Zinhle’s series of images, the fan wrote, “[Hold] up. Busiswa leaves Kalawa and Oskido, instead of beefing, he celebrates this woman because he’s matured like that. Please sir, teach other record labels.” Another fan agreed with the sentiments, writing, “I love Oskido’s humility, when I grow up I want to be like him…”
