Dumi Mkokstad celebrates his wife, Dr Ziphozenkosi Nzimande, for launching cancer awareness campaign

Gospel singer, Dumi Mkokstad, took to social media to celebrate his wife, Dr Ziphozenkosi Nzimande, for launching a cancer awareness campaign called Cancer Will Not Win.

On Tuesday, 8 October 2019, Dumi Mkokstad took to his social media accounts to celebrate his wife’s newly launched cancer awareness campaign to coincide with international breast cancer awareness month. The celebrated gospel artist posted the announcement with a touching message dedicated to his wife.

Dumi posted an image of the two of them and captioned it, “I am so proud of my wife. She has [started] a campaign [called] #CANCERWILLNOTWIN. I love her timing as this month is breast cancer awareness month.” He went on to dote on his wife, writing, “Zipho has such a big heart for people and helping people with different illnesses. She has decided to tackle cancer head on.”

On her Instagram page, the doctor only posted an image and captioned it with the hashtags #CANCERWILLNOTWIN and #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth. Details of the campaign have not been publicised yet.

Many of his social media followers commended Dumi for his support of his wife’s venture. One social media user stated, “Great initiative. May she find strength from the Lord each day. It’s good that she has your support first. You [must both] stay blessed.” Another social media said, “May God bless your union and the campaign as well. I love you guys.”

After a follower asked how they could reach out to ask a cancer-related question, Dumi responded by suggesting that the follower sends a direct message to his wife on her Instagram page.
