The highly-anticipated game show, Celebrity Game Night, has revealed some of its celebrity guests, including Tracy Lange, Lorna Maseko and Minnie Dlamini Jones, and will premiere on Monday, 28 October 2019.

The E! Entertainment Africa competition show, hosted by Anele Mdoda, will see Anele playing host to two celebrity teams, championed by comedian, Jason Goliath, and media personality, Ayanda Thabethe. The show will showcase various celebrities featured in each team as they partake in ludicrous games which test their agility, strength, wit and intellect. The show revealed the celebrity contestants for the pilot season on its official Instagram throughout the month of October, which includes Tracy Lange, Joey Rasdien, Lorna Maseko, Chris J, Minnie Dlamini Jones, Majozi, Maps Maponyane, Danny K, Candice Modiselle and Lerato Kganyago, with many more to be announced during the course of the season.

In a statement from DStv on Monday, 21 October 2019, team captain, Ayanda Thabethe, commented on her excitement for the show, stating, “This will sound cliché but everything about the show was totally fun; the personalities we featured, the challenges and just the entire atmosphere of the production. Jason and I are quite competitive but in a very loving way. I kid you not when I say that everyone (including the celebs we had) interacted with such a positive attitude and it was all fun and games.”

Celebrity Game Night will see the celebrity contestants from each team go up against one another in numerous games, including dance battles, popping balloons, manoeuvring a biscuit around your face and a number of other entertaining challenges.

Celebrity Game Night premieres on Monday, 28 October 2019 at 20:00 on E! Entertainment, DStv channel 124.
