Emmanuel Castis is the latest actor to join the cast of BET Africa’s Isono, taking on the character of Mannie, who is a notorious drug peddler.
Emmanuel Castis debuted on Thursday, 26 November 2020’s episode of BET Africa’s Isono, as announced on Instagram, where he was introduced as Mannie. The episode did not delve deep into the character’s contribution to the storyline, however, viewers were made aware that he is the person who orchestrates drug peddling in the country. Mannie was seen receiving a package containing garments, which were also used to transport drugs.
Emmanuel Castis is a well-known South African actor who gained popularity on SABC 3’s Isidingo, where he assumed the role of Steve. He then went on to star as the lead protagonist in Erfsondes and has also appeared in South Africa’s Dancing With The Stars. Most recently, he appeared in M-Net’s original series, Trackers, where he was praised for his portrayal of Suleiman Daoud.
