Exclusive Books turns all upcoming book launches into a virtual affair

Due to the ongoing restrictions put in place because of the coronavirus pandemic, Exclusive Books has decided to host all book launches online to comply with the lockdown regulations.

Exclusive Books, along with many other retailers, have postponed or cancelled events to avoid mass gatherings of customers in an enclosed space. South African bookstore, Exclusive Books, have found a way around the lockdown regulations, choosing to still host their events virtually. Attendees are expected to join the free event from their devices, via the Zoom application, where the authors and other members of the book club will be found.

Some of the upcoming book launches include Wandile Sihlobo’s Finding Common Ground and Malose Langa’s Becoming Men on Tuesday, 23 June 2020, Jamil F. Khan’s Khamr on Thursday, 25 June 2020, Imtiaz A. Cajee’s The Murder of Ahmed Timol on Tuesday, 30 June 2020, and many others which are scheduled to take place in the coming months.
