The singer has been promoting the event on social media since the first week of the month encouraging fans to attend the love-filled event.
RnB singer, Vusi Nova, asked fans on Facebook on Sunday, 13 January 2019, to get involved in the creative process for his upcoming Valentine’s Day performance.
“Let us know which songs you’d like to hear on your special evening of love,” the singer wrote on Facebook. Last week, the singer gave fans the chance to win tickets to the show by encouraging them to enter a competition.
The singer will be performing alongside Carl Thomas, Ntsika and 047 at the Evening of Love event at the Sun Arena in Times Square in Menlyn Pretoria on Thursday, 14 February 2019. Ticket holders will be treated to performances by special guest musicians.
Most of Vusi Nova’s songs are about love and romance. Some of the popular include his breakout song ‘I’d Rather Go Blind’ which is an Etta James cover, ‘Ndikuthandile’ and ‘Without You’ featuring Moneoa.
The singer told Bona magazine on Friday, 22 May 2015 that his music is a reflection of what he saw in the real world.
“I’m inspired by things that happen to normal, everyday people. I’m also passionate about love – I’m in love with love!” he said. Nova has made music with one of the other performers, Ntsika. Ntsika’s song titled ‘Awundiva’ is an open love-letter to the singer’s wife.
