Puerto Rican singer-songwriter Farruko announced that he will be embarking on the North American leg of his Gangalee tour, beginning on Wednesday, 7 August 2019.
Farruko, one of the most prominent names on the Latino music scene, rose to fame through collaborations with other popular Latino artists like Daddy Yankee, Jory and J Alvarez. His debut studio album El Talento Del Bloque launched him into the stratosphere, while albums like Visionary and TrapXficante allowed him to capitalize on his fame.
His most recent release that also shares a name with his tour, Gangalee, was on Friday, 26 April 2019. The album features hits like La Cartera, Delincuente and Calma (Alica remix). The album boasts features from huge Latino stars like Pedro Capó, Zion y Lennox, Dom Omar and Manuel Turizo.
The tour kicks off at San Antonio, Texas’ Tobin Center for the Performing Arts on Wednesday, 7 August 2019. He plays two more show in Texas, Austin on Thursday, 8 August 2019 and Hidalgo on Friday, 9 August 2019. Following this he travels to perform at Monterrey Mexico’s Cabuland Festival on Saturday, 10 August 2019. From Thursday, 22 August to Saturday, 31 August 2019, Farruko plays a string of shows in cities like Connecticut, Philadelphia, New York and Massachusetts. His shows in New York both take place at festivals, namely The Great New York State Fair and Soulfrito Music Fest 2019.
Farruko rounds off his tour with massive shows in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, San Francisco and San Diego from Thursday, 5 September to Sunday, 8 September 2019.
