Ferguson Films shares behind-the-scenes footage from Kings Of Jo’burg

Acclaimed South African production company, Ferguson Films, has shared a number of images and videos taken behind-the-scenes on the set of their upcoming series, Kings Of Jo’burg.

Power couple, Shona and Connie Ferguson, who founded Ferguson Films, took to social media to give their audiences a glimpse at the highly anticipated action series.

Connie reposted a series of images from director, Samad Davis, who shared a post on Monday, 19 August 2019. The post detailed several different stills taken whilst filming, as well as showcasing the hi-tech equipment used in the production.

The post was captioned with, “We’ve been cooking with grease since 6am on the set of Kings Of Jo’burg. Shona Ferguson, Connie Ferguson, myself and the entire team producing something [great], a new series in Africa for world consumption!”.

Thereafter, Ferguson Films reposted another behind-the-scenes glimpse of life on set with a short clip from Samad Davis, showcasing American actress, Terri J Vaughn, in the make-up chair before delivering her scene.

Shona Ferguson was also seen in the video, where he stated, “We are making magic.” The post was captioned with, “Watching my African American sister, Terry J Vaughn, make magic in these King Of Jo’Burg scenes, with my African brother Shona Ferguson is priceless!”.

The new show stars Shona Ferguson, Zolisa Xaluva, Masechaba Ndlovu, Tsholo Matshaba and American actress, Terri J Vaughn.

Ferguson Films is yet to reveal the premiere date for the series, although according to fan speculation, Kings Of Jo’burg should be ready for release in late 2019 or early 2020.
