Gagasi FM’s Beach Festival returns to the Bay of Plenty

The seventh edition of the popular music and lifestyle festival returns to Durban’s Bay of Plenty, with the likes of AKA, Busiswa and Babes Wodumo set to perform.

Durban-based radio station, Gagasi FM, has revealed a stellar line-up for the seventh edition of their Gagasi FM Beach Festival. The event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, 1 December 2018, at Durban’s Bay of Plenty.

The likes of Dladla Mshunqisi, Babes Wodumo, AKA, Tip Cee, Busiswa, DJ Tira and DJ Sox, are just some of the acts that will be performing on the day.

Speaking to local media in an article published on Tuesday, 23 October 2018, Gagasi FM’s Head of Brand, Phinda Magwaza, commented:

“We are once again cementing our position as KZN’s entertainment and lifestyle authority. The Beach Fest has been growing from strength to strength each year, and this year, we plan to make it bigger. As time goes on, we will be announcing other exciting experiential elements of the event and a final artist line-up. People can look forward to yet another spectacular event to kick off their 2018 summer.”

“Last year, we introduced elements such as the food and fashion village which was well received by the Beach Fest patrons. We are very happy with the support we have been receiving for this event over the past seven years,” Magwaza concluded.

Tickets for the Gagasi FM Beach Festival are available from Computicket, and at the event venue on the day, retailing between R200 and R650. The event will kick off at 10:00, with the station broadcasting live from the event from 10:00 until 22:00.
