Generations: The Legacy’s Thursday night episode saw Mbali being rudely awakened by her aunt on her first morning away from the orphanage.
Generations: The Legacy’s latest episode, which aired on SABC 1 on Thursday, 20 August 2020, saw Mbali reluctantly agreeing to move to KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) to live with her aunt. On the first morning in her new home, her aunt rudely woke her up and ordered her to go and fetch water from the well.
Confused by the sudden change of behaviour, Mbali questioned why there was a change in plans, as she was under the impression that she would be going to school that morning. Her aunt quickly dismissed her questions and advised her to listen to her orders.
Mbali later realised that her phone was missing, and searched the house in hopes of finding it. When her aunt found her amidst her search, she laughed it off and stated that everything in the house belongs to her, including Mbali’s phone. Mbali soon realised that her aunt was not who she initially appeared to be, and she should have rather stayed at the orphanage with Mam’ Sonto.
