The singer will be performing her last set of shows in February and March 2019 for her ‘Just A Girl’ residency, that started in June last year.
Pop-star Gwen Stefani took to Instagram on Monday, 14 January 2019, to announce three performances at the Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas.
The singer will be performing as part of her ‘Just A Girl’ residency on Wednesday, 27 February 2019, as well as on Friday, 1 March 2019, and Saturday, 2 March 2019. The star began her residency at the popular venue on Wednesday, 27 June 2018, and will end the string of shows on Saturday, 16 March 2019.
The 25-date residency included performances in June, July and December of 2018 and one show in February 2019 followed by eight shows in March. The residency is named after the 2009 song that she recorded with her former group ‘No Doubt’. The ‘Sweet Escape’ singer has been performing some of the hits she created with the band as well as the solo hits that shaped her career.
Last year, the singer attended one of Jennifer Lopez’s Las Vegas shows. Lopez’s residency lasted just over two years starting in January 2016 and ending 2018. Pop icon. Britney Spears. was a favourite in the Entertainment Capital, with a residency that lasted four years. Stefani said she was excited for the opportunity to perform there.
“To be able to do a show in Vegas is such an incredible honor. Growing up in Anaheim, California, I could never have imagined one day having my own Vegas residency,” she said in a statement. “I have been so fortunate to tour throughout my career, but to create a show for Vegas is something I’ve never experienced and I can’t wait.” Tickets to the show are available at ticketmaster.
